Getting started.
The b2b2dot0 agile implementation process is designed to get your eCommerce site up and running fast. Beginning with a series of conversations, interviews, and demonstrations, we work with your project team to set the scope of the project.
Because we're agile, we know that definitive answers to our questions won't be available at the start of the project and we will work with you to find those answers as the project evolves. Although we don't need all of the details up front, we do need answers to the following business-related questions:
- Who are the users of the system?
- How is your SAP platform configured to support these users (products, pricing, availability, security, ordering rules etc.)?
- Aside from information that your ERP system provides, what other information or documents will buyers need (COA, MSDS, carrier's tracking information, etc.)?
Once you've told us what you want to accomplish and given us access to your SAP platform, we integrate and configure the b2b2dot0 service to customize your first working model as quickly as possible. We know that it won't be 100 percent correct yet, but it will be good enough to reassure your infrastructure and security teams that our two infrastructures can communicate.
Focus groups, customization, and validation
The working model is also good enough to elicit focus group feedback that will help us zero in on what both you and your customers consider to be of greatest value. After our first formal focus group, we'll prioritize all of the issues uncovered, dispense with them appropriately, and then sprint towards our second and final focus group.
Then, after dealing with the short list of remaining issues related to cleaning up the data and rules in your SAP application, we turn the controls over to you. We have created a list of scenarios to guide you through your testing and validation of our work. Any additional issues uncovered during this period will be minor and should not jeopardize the launch.
Going live
This is when the real value of your project is unleashed. We recommend starting off slowly, putting a few trusted users on the website, monitoring their activities, and scaling up incrementally from there. During this phase b2b2dot0 will ensure that all of your web analytics are set up and working properly.
Ongoing support
Our goal isn't just to get you into production. It’s to keep you happy for the long haul, making sure that you get the value you bargained for. We'll monitor the usage of your site continually and offer suggestions to make it work even harder for you.
